Linear Obsessional Recordings is delighted to present a performance by the extraordinary British guitarist/vocalist Mike Cooper - a musician who has taken an amazing journey from country blues recordings in the 60s through world music, free improvisation and glitchy hula noise.
Mike has recorded for many labels including Pye, Dawn, Nato, and Room 40. His live solo album "Forbidden Delta Planet Blues" will be released on Linear Obsessional Recordings soon.
support from Browne/Thompson/Sanderson
Last year's "The 1926 Floor Polish Variations" album on Linear Obsessional Recordings was feted as a "collective stream of consciousness attentively spun" by Avant Music News.
Plus poetry by Zolan Quobble, the South London poet spins thoughtful, witty and brain-teasing explorations as fascinating and resonanant as any improvising musician.
