Charles Hayward - the former This Heat dynamo presents a set of "songs and and sound events" with piano,voice and percussion.
Kamura Obscura- a collection of beautiful, unique and haunting songs from this "Japanese agit-fem chansonnier" and former member of Frank Chickens.
Far Rainbow - hypnotic and textural cosmic improv from the duo of Bobby Barry (electronics)and Emily Mary Barnett (percussion)
There will be interval music provided by Richard Sanderson on adapted wind-up gramophone.
There may also be mulled wine, and you can buy food and soft drinks from the Cafe or if you wish,you are welcome to bring a bottle.
The performances will be from 2 - 4 pm, starting promptly.
The ArtsCafe is easy to get to-
TRAIN - the easiest if you're coming any distance. The park is 3 minutes walk from Hither Green Station. (Regular trains from Charing Cross, Waterloo East/Southwark and London Bridge)
When you get off the train, go down the slope and turn right into a parade of shops, turn left into Leahurst Road, then right into Longhurst Road - the is an entrance to the park between no's 4 and 6 on theleft)
Buses- 321 (from New Cross Gate), 122, 178, 261 get off at Manor Park (stop Q) - go down Manor Park (road) and turn right into the park (2 mins)
DLR/Train - Lewisham - a ten minute walk down Lee High Road (or get one of the buses above) turn right down Manor Park (road) the park is on the right.
If walking you can also get into the park from an entrance at the end of Dermody Road.
