Submissions
The majority of artists on Linear Obsessional are invited to contribute to the label.
We do accept submissions, as long as they fit certain criteria.
We're generally looking for music which fits within our own tastes- We're interested in acoustic music, free improvisation, field recordings, modern composition, noise, drone, music with lots of space, music of extraordinary density, experimental song form and traditional (folk) music.
We're really not interested in modern dance music, rock music, "new age" music, drum machines and sequencers, or anything self described as "dark" or "transgressive" .
Please note preference will always be given to invited and commissioned artists.
If you have music you'd like to be considered for release on Linear Obsessional you can contact us via the contact form below
As of January 2020 Linear Obsessional will only be releasing items in the Cassette Imprint, and as downloads.
